Believe it or not this is actually a S197 Mustang! This custom hot rod will be showcasing at this year's 2008 SEMA Show. The beast is pumping out 1,005 horsepower, yes you've heard right, 1,005 horsepower. I'm pretty amazed! The custom shop that made this concept up was Galpin Auto Sports out of Van Nuys, California. They must have some real talented workers over at Galpin because this is something like Chip Foose would conjure up. The engine in it is a twin supercharged 5.0, with custom ported 24-valve SOHC cylinder heads. Galpin also custom fabricated the intake manifold, camshafts and a custom electronic shifter complete the powertrain of this one of a kind vehicle. Other performance advances include a custom Air Ride Technologies suspension system by Galpin and an onboard CPU which constantly adjusts ride height for maximum performance. Dual driving positions with retractable motorized steering wheels allows for left and ride side driving control of the vehicle and custom Galpin designed brakes using Wilwood 16.5" rotors and 6-piston calipers on all four corners make Scythe stop on a dime. Let me tell you, this is one sweet ride!
